Feature Focus #2: Storage Costs

Storage costs for a typical tent trailer can be equivalent to monthly finance payments and continue even after the trailer is paid off. For an asset that is used only a few times a year this seems a big waste of money.

Avoiding storage costs and putting the money towards paying off the trailer radically reduces its lifetime costs. Even if stored in a driveway, exposure to heat, cold, rain, snow, freeze and critters can cause its rapid deterioration, loss of value and pleasure of use. Many Home Owners’ Associations or bylaws prohibit the storage of RVs in driveways.

Fortunately the Lemur Camper stores vertically on its tailgate in a quarter of the space (4ft deep x 6 ft wide) required for a typical small camping trailer (16ft x 6 ft). This facilitates storage at the front or side of your garage or elsewhere under cover with an 8ft ceiling.

It stands only 7.5ft high in storage and with its small footprint frees up space for a small car in a 20ft garage or storage of other recreational toys or personal effects. This keeps your Lemur Camper snug and out of the weather until the next camping season AND it’s no ongoing drain on your bank account!
