There never seems to be enough countertop space for meal prep, cooking, serving and dishwashing in a campsite. The Lemur Camper tailgate kitchen maximizes the countertop space available with no built-in washbasin or hob. This provides 7.5 sq ft (6’ x 15.5”) for meal prep on a lit Formica countertop at an ergonomic height.
The camping stove, wash basin, drying rack, cutlery, crockery and other devices can be rotated in and out of the under counter storage as required during the various stages of cooking resulting in a nice tidy campsite and plenty of space for each activity.
In good weather the detachable and portable tailgate kitchen can be located outside and brought into the living room when it is buggy or rainy out. Large windows in the living room effectively dissipate cooking smells keeping them out of the sleeping area. The bedrooms can also be closed off if required.
